The nervous system is made of these organs:
-Brain
-Spinal cord
-Sensory organs
-Nerves
-Meninges
-Cerebrospinal Fluid

-Cerebrospinal Fluid
How Does it Work?
The brain and spinal cord is called the central nervous system; the place where Polio attacks. The spinal cord carries information through the vertebral cavity. The spinal cord has thousands of information tracks that carry the signals to and from the brain. The information from the brain then travels through the nerves and down to the spinal cord. The brain receives the information from the sensors and sends signals to move the muscles or organs. The nerves is like a highway for information to pass by. Meninges is a protective covering that envelopes the central nervous system. Cerebrospinal fluid is a liquid that carries filtered fluid and delivers them to spaces in the brain. Sensory organs are sight, touch, hear, smell, and taste.
Why is it Important?
The nervous system is important to our body because it keeps it safe. If we did not have a nervous system, we could potentially touch something harmful to our body. Our body would not react and pull away from the object; we would be harming us even more because of that. Without sensory organs you would not be able to see where you are going, you wouldn't be able to taste anything, or smell anything good. Without our brain functioning properly, we would not survive long. Our brain controls what we do, and without it we will all demise quickly.
